CONFLUX III

Conflux III is an interactive net-based art project that enables users to enter search terms for images that initiate several procedural processes – resulting in a dynamic, evolving composite experience. User searches are entered via a local touchpad or mobile web interface. A depth sensor reacts to the physical presence of the participant and alters aspects of the composition in real time. The work is installed as a three vertical monitor triptych but can be adapted to single channel or VR CAVE or headset. Analogous music is processed and layered similarly, using live algorithms that use artificial intelligence to establish an analysis of the tone of the search. John Fillwalk and Neil Zehr. Music composed by Michael Rhoades.
